Creating each piece takes considerable time and care.

With the exception of the wire, metal accents and findings the materials used in the construction of your piece are organic. Hang or store your piece flat and away from other jewelry as to not snag the porcupine quills or crack the dentalium shells. Rawhide will warp and hide tassel fringes will stiffen if wet. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Take caution when wearing your pieces in harsh weather.

My work is wearable art therefore, I package each item in acid-free paper to uphold the integrity of the work as well as protect the materials.

I will not repair any pieces that have been damaged due to improper storage and care.

My prices are based on the grade of dentalium shells and the quality of materials I use. Size also plays a factor.

No, I currently do not take custom orders.

Yes. By purchasing my work and buying from other Indigenous artists you are helping to prevent cultural appropriation and supporting small businesses.

Indigenous identity and belonging is complex. For many years we relied on an honor system of self identifying but unfortunately it has been exploited. The artist/business owner should have no problem being truthful and clearly stating who they are. It is also okay to ask questions.
